Team Leader - Heritage-Based Education 5.0 Model

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Team Leader to spearhead an innovative and rewarding program aimed at shaping the future of professional leadership in education. This performance-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a young and vibrant School Head to develop new skills in emerging teaching methodologies and technology-driven education while fostering collaboration
across the education community.


Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage a team of educators, ensuring alignment with the program’s goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to drive innovation and excellence in teaching practices.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure effective delivery of training and educational program.

Program Development:
Oversee the development and execution of educational pathways that integrate emerging technologies and innovative teaching methodologies.
Work closely with stakeholders, including regulators, to ensure the program aligns with current educational standards
and best practices.

Networking and Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, including school leaders, regulators, and other educational professionals.
Foster collaborative arrangements within the teaching community to ensure the success of the program.

Training and Development:
Organize and lead training sessions aimed at enhancing teaching skills, particularly in the use of technology and modern pedagogical techniques.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and continuously improve delivery methods.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Track and report on program performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure all activities meet performance targets and compliance standards.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed on the latest developments in teaching technologies and methodologies to ensure the program remains at the forefront of educational innovation.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Leadership, or a related field.

Experience:
Proven experience as a School Head or in a senior leadership role within an educational institution.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, with a track record of driving change and innovation in education.
Experience in the integration of technology into teaching and learning processes.
Strong understanding of current educational trends, especially in relation to emerging teaching methodologies and technologies.

Networking: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the education sector, including regulators, educators, and school leaders.

Knowledge of the educational landscape in Zimbabwe and experience working with regulators and government bodies.
